My Story
I am an international illustrator with Italian and Filipino heritage, born and raised in Hong Kong, and currently living in Italy. In 2019 I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a bachelor’s degree in sequential art. Growing up, I was inspired by artwork from Gustave Doré, specifically his interpretations of the Divine Comedy by Dante, as well as the works of H.R. Giger who famously conceptualized the design of Alien. I also draw inspiration from many other fields of interest including mythology, ancient history, prehistory, and modern mediums such as video games and comic books. Specifically, I have an affinity for creating monsters. Their ability to create powerful, visceral reactions really inspires me to create them. I like creatures of all types whether they be magical, horrific, alien, or even ecological in nature. Through them, I strive to create meaningful stories in interesting worlds and bring them to life in my illustrations.
